The Learning Commons
The Learning Commons, open 11am to 7pm Monday through Thursday, is located on the first floor of Sid Richardson, provides students with access to a wide range of academic support services. Home to both the Tutoring Center and the Study Skills Center, it also serves as the location for workshops and special events that help students build skills and achieve their academic goals. Tutoring Services
Free tutoring is available during the Fall and Spring semesters for more than 50 of the university's highest-enrollment courses. Students can access support in a variety of formats, including in-person drop-in tutoring, scheduled appointments, after-hours virtual tutoring, group tutoring, and Math Mastery Sessions.
Study Skills Center
Looking to strengthen your academic skills? The Study Skills Center can help you develop effective strategies for time management, stress management, test preparation, reading comprehension, note-taking, and more. No appointment is required, so you can stop by whenever you need assistance. If you prefer to schedule an appointment, you can do so through the Navigate app.
